Would it not be more interesting and far better content to open up Jove Space than create a different type of wormhole? We have had sleepers in WH space for a long time so now lets get the Jove awakened. The Null alliance rush for the space would out surpass the landrushes of the 1900's lol |

Things could be getting interesting, for once First?
Create a high sec bridge and null sec bridge and lets all go for the land rush, would bring some nice content.
They are talking about black holes and new gates. |

ShahFluffers wrote:1. Opening up Jove space (and Jovian stuff) will remove a plot device that CCP can use for future expansions. This would require CCP to then come up with something entirely new that may or may not jive with "the story of EVE."
2. Why spoil the mystery?
The mystery has been running since eve started or thereabouts, Future expansions have come and gone!

The Null alliance rush for the space would out surpass the landrushes of the 1900's lol I would only support this if the Jove actively repel invasion like sleepers on steroids. They should camp gates with bubbles, use caps to attack POSes, and hot drop mining fleets.
The lore of the Jove has to be held true of course. |

Abrazzar wrote:"Land rush" is not a sustainable scenario. Game features should not be designed around it in a persistent game world.
You would go though? |

Paul Panala wrote:If CCP did this, it would have to come with a lot of new content in the game. A new area that works pretty much like existing null but with different NPCs would be very disappointing. It would need to be something new and different.
I like the idea of NPCs using player tactics to protect their space. It could also be interesting if there was a way to gain standings with the Jove to be allowed in their space. I am not suggesting it should be a carebear kingdom, just that there should be some kind of structure, not just null and rats.
You have hit the nail on the head, I agree totally. |

Any space with no local channel is good space!!
Would Jove space have local?

You don't even know what is there, might be more high sec boredom for all we know.
Three questions and Three answers below.
1, "Why would it?" Greed, power, knowledge and the sense of adventure.
2, " You don't even know what is there" Neither did the original capsuleers going through the Eve gate.
3, "might be more high sec boredom for all we know." Who says it would be high sec or any known space? Read your question two! [/quote] |

New Wormholes and Sleeper tech added to K-Space. Something tells me we will be seeing the Jove before our time is over.
Plus Fozzie said they're working on some sort of story to go with why sleeper tech will be found in K-Space as well as J-Space. Lies! All lies!! There are no Jovians! You might not believe in the Jove but the Jove believe in you ! :D They gave us the capsule which is: a) the greatest act of benevolence from a superior race or b) the mother of all intelligence networks (they built the capsule, something tells me they know it's ins and outs very well, so our childish firewalls and barriers are nothing to their infiltration methods, should they choose to take a peek) or c) the sickest kill-switch designed (we're just one forced neural scan away from taking the pod express) or d) the most devious Trojan Horse ever (some day maybe we will hear Aura whisper softly "execute order 66" and we find ourselves shooting Concord or the Empires while swearing on all the gods we are not doing it) or e) the widest and most complex live study case on the workings of the brain and human nature. But this is all speculation of course...
With the CCP alliance getting disbanded and rebranded and disbanded and reb!!! you know what I mean or was that a sov bill not paid?
